    For over 100 years the Boys Scouts of America has been the nation's leading youth organization.

The Scouts of TROOP 613 and CREW 613 in Golden are a part of this heritage and you can be too.

Boy Scout TROOP 613 is open to young men ages 10 to 18.  Venture CREW 613 is open to young men and women ages 14 to 20.

Congratulations to Neil Secosky for receiving the Unit Leader Award of Merit!

The Boy Scouts of America created the Unit Leader Award of Merit to recognize unit leaders who create a quality Scouting experience for their unit.  In addition to serving as Troop 613’s Scoutmaster for 2 ½ years, Neil has served as Advancement Chair (3 years), and as the ACE for the Day Out with Thomas fundraising activity for many years.

Service Opportunity - Help Needed!

The Christian Action Guild in Golden is requesting volunteers age 12 and older to help them sort, shelve and box food from the U.S. Postal Service letter carrier "Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive" Saturday, May 13th, 3 - 8 p.m. Snacks & cold drinks provided.
